Realme has just introduced its new top-of-the-line phone, the GT 2 Master Explorer. The model stands out for its construction with premium materials, a lot of processing power and support for fast charging, among other features. The smartphone's look brings a repositioning of the cameras in relation to the GT 2 Pro, but still with a rectangular module with rounded edges. The back cover has a clean design, and the device can even come in a leather-finished version with metallic edges. On the front, the display has a hole centered at the top for positioning the selfie camera components. The AMOLED panel is 6.7 inches, with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, support for HDR10+ and 10-bit color with 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut. The screen also offers a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother results in games or in system menus. In addition, the device features an independent X7 graphics chip for inserting frames with very low latency. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer's performance suite is led by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, Qualcomm's most powerful mobile platform to date. Its configuration options go through 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which consumes around 20% less power compared to LPDDR5.The consumer can also choose between 128GB or 156GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.Internal components are cooled through a dual system of vapor chambers, so operating temperatures are always controlled. Its main camera features a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor, and there is support for optical image stabilization (OIS).A second 50 MP component was implemented for the ultrawide with a 150º viewing angle, alongside a 2 MP microscope camera — on the front of the device, a 16 MP camera is responsible for selfies. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer's battery is 5,000 mAh, with support for fast recharges of up to 100 W. A corresponding adapter comes with the product in the box, with gallium nitride (GaN) technology and the ability to fill the tank in approximately 25 minutes , as reported by the brand. In addition to the USB-C port for wired top-ups or file transfers, wireless connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and dual-frequency GPS.The smartphone also has a tray for two SIM cards, and a 3.5 mm jack for headphones. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer was announced for the Chinese market, and will be sold from July 19th in white, black and brown (leather) colors.Suggested prices for each model can be found below:
