rmtConnect™ remote robot control solution

Melville, New York (PRWEB) October 21, 2021

Telemedicine Technology (RMT) will showcase the significantly enhanced rmtConnect™ remote robot-controlled remote microscope solution installed on a mobile cart at the American Society for Cytopathology (ASC) annual scientific conference held in Green Valley Ranch this year. Features and functions will be held in Las Vegas from November 11th to 14th. rmtConnect™ remote robot control allows users to participate in a real-time, highly secure, high-definition telepathology session, in which the Olympus BX series oscilloscope images are shared with the remote pathologist in real time. ASC attendees are encouraged to bring their mobile devices (iPad, iPhone or Android) to experience the most mobile remote cytology technology in the industry.

The rmtConnect™ remote robot control solution is significantly different from any other remote robot controlled microscope. Remote clinicians can obtain industry-leading real-time dynamic image quality from RMT's first-class 1-chip or 3-chip CMOS camera, while easily using fine and coarse focusing, and rmtFocusAssistTM z-plane viewing functions to make immediate decisions. Users can also use the mouse and/or keyboard to immediately move on the slide for quick evaluation, whether by PC or MAC. RMT builds the entire system and network architecture and security in the product, so you can directly receive real-time images from high-performance instruments without intermediary 3rd party applications. It also uses rmtOneClick™ technology to make decisions in 3 simple steps, thereby reducing clinicians' time. The customizable and extensible system has a first-class in-session rmtInvite™ communication function, allowing the session host to quickly invite multiple guests to join the session directly via phone, text, and email. VoiceNet enables all participants to communicate with webcams and VoIP at the push of a button. Don Marchon, founder and CEO of RMT, added: “RMT works hard with our customer base and listened carefully to each medical institution to understand what needs to be done to maximize performance. The results are spectacular. Imaging, ease of use, and improved patient care are the most important. RMT specifically designed the system’s features to benefit clinicians and medical institutions to make highly secure and immediate decisions.”

RMT does not require scanning slides at all; therefore, it is still the perfect, user-friendly solution for all microscope alternatives in anatomical pathology (especially cryosections in surgical pathology and rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) in cytology) plan. The solution uses an open, real-time slide access microscope technology, which has proven to be faster. This solution makes consultation with experts and residents on call faster and easier. Save time and increase revenue by reducing travel and waiting time to implement more remote devices and expand patient care.

In addition to demonstrating remote robotic control of the microscope, RMT also introduced the most advanced medical-grade 4K solution, providing users with incredibly gorgeous imaging, which is known to enhance any multi-head microscope room. Anatomical pathology departments can easily upgrade their equipment and benefit from maximizing their field of view on local-scale images with the necessary depth and quality. The multi-head microscope allows residents or colleagues to view specimen observations in real time. Medical institutions will never have to compromise their educational practices by implementing RMT technology, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The new 4K camera images the part of the microscope, providing four times the details of the full HD, providing high-quality imaging. By equipping the RMT Ikegami camera control unit (CCU) with 4K (3840x2160) digital processing, RMT’s latest cameras produce excellent local resolution at a sampling rate four times that of traditional HD (1920x1080)1. For cytopathology, look at all z-plane levels of cells of excellent quality to draw the most accurate conclusions. Reproducing spectacular images, especially when viewed on a support monitor, allows clinicians to make better decisions in a timely manner.

Visit RMT Booth 117 and experience firsthand how remote robot control and ROSE's mobile trolley can greatly improve the daily operations of your medical institution. Want to know what 4K is? Note: 1*Multi-head oscilloscope room monitor must support 4:2:2 10-bit or 4:4:4 8-bit video format for RMT Ikegami 4K camera operation.
