"Time Capsule" is the best description of home, and its content is fascinating because of its breadth and diversity.

The property was bequeathed to the non-profit Montclair Historical Center (MHC) in 1996 and will remain open as a house museum until 2019. Despite people’s deep love and respect for this house, and due to high maintenance costs, MHC is canceling the addition of the property, including the main house and carriage house.
