Oppo's Find X series has been among the top high-end flagship models in the world, joining the ranks of the Apple iPhone series and Samsung Galaxy flagship models. Find X3 Pro in 2021 will certainly continue the same style and provide a high-end experience.

But it is not perfect, as we found in the initial review, second opinion, and six months of re-examination. So this is what we hope to see when Oppo Find X4 Pro is finally released.

Oppo thinks it is suitable to provide a 3MP "micro lens" camera on Find X3 Pro, it is definitely one of the cooler auxiliary cameras we have seen so far. This allows you to be closer than a macro camera, showing details that are invisible to the naked eye.

However, this camera also has some major shortcomings. First of all, the focus is very picky. Given that this is more like a microscope than anything else, we can understand rough focusing, but some kind of autofocus would be cool.

A bigger problem in our book is the low resolution of 3MP. The details of this camera are not detailed enough to use these photos as wallpaper, and this is where they really shine. Therefore, if Oppo does plan to bring back the micro lens on Find X4 Pro, it hopes that it will provide a 5MP microscope camera.

One of the biggest problems with Find X3 Pro actually has nothing to do with the device itself. On the contrary, we are disappointed by the limited availability of the device. This phone was released in Australia, China, the United Kingdom and other regions in Europe, but India, North America, Latin America and most of Africa completely missed the market.

It is not clear whether this is a strategic decision or is related to a shortage of chips, but we hope that the company will expand its footprint through Find X4 Pro. After all, one of the ways to challenge companies like Apple and Samsung is to have the same level of availability. Especially with the success of Oppo's BBK stable partner OnePlus in the United States, it is great to see Oppo follow in the footsteps.

Compared with its predecessor, one downgrade of Find X3 Pro is remote zoom, because compared with the 13MP 5x periscope lens on Find X2 Pro, the flagship product in 2021 provides a 13MP 2x telephoto camera.

Although this does mean that the native short-range zoom has been upgraded, it is clear that due to this decision, the long-range zoom has been greatly affected. We hope that Oppo will bring a periscope camera to Find X4 Pro, whether it is to replace the 2x camera or as a companion for short-range lenses.

Many of today's flagship phones provide fast charging, and some even far exceed 30W. These allow you to fully recharge your device in an hour or less. We usually see brands using proprietary fast charging solutions, or technologies based on Qualcomm's Quick Charge and open USB Power Delivery standards. We also see that many mobile phones support both proprietary standards and common standards to cover all the basics.

One major disadvantage of Find X3 Pro is that it can only be charged quickly through Oppo's proprietary solution. In some cases, when you use a third-party charger, the charging power will drop to 10W.

This is really disappointing, and it is also very bad for the environment, because it means you may have to buy a brand new proprietary charger to get near decent speeds. We really hope that Oppo can solve this problem with its 2022 flagship product.

One of the coolest things about Find X3 Pro is its one-piece glass back cover, because the back cover is made of a piece of molded glass. Even the camera housing is made of this glass, not a different material or separate glass.

We would love to see Oppo retain this design for Find X4 Pro. But we also hope to see the company bring back faux leather styles, such as the gorgeous orange Find X2 Pro. Hope the company can achieve this goal and satisfy the fans of Find X3 Pro and Find X2 Pro.
