Axcend Focus LC® is Axcend's latest advanced, fully portable, high-performance liquid chromatograph, which can be carried anywhere. In addition, it can be used anywhere, for example, in a laboratory, on a production line, or even in the field. This is the first time that HPLC has this flexibility.

Compared with other UV absorption-based HPLC systems, Axcend Focus LC® has higher sensitivity and can quickly generate accurate test results, while using 1/500 of solvents and generating 1/500 of waste.

Axcend Focus LC® is designed and manufactured in the laboratory of Professor Milton Lee of Brigham Young University. It is the world's first fully mobile gradient liquid chromatograph, providing new opportunities and greater flexibility for mobile analysis.

The new Axcend Focus LC® is a portable high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC) that makes HPLC Anywhere® a reality. Axcend Focus LC® is a shoebox-sized capillary solution that provides better sensitivity than other UV absorption-based HPLC systems. The system only uses 1/500 of the solvent, and the waste generated is only 1/500.

Its weight and size can be conveniently used anywhere: from the laboratory bench to the fume hood, from on-site analysis to the production line.

Axcend Focus LC® uses dual or single-column UV absorption detectors, which are suitable for installation in a compact and user-friendly small column system. Axcend’s fused silica capillary columns have an inner diameter (ID) of 150 μm and are usually packed with stationary phase particles of 1.7–3.0 μm (columns and packing materials of other sizes are also available).

The portable design of the Axcend Focus LC® can also be easily integrated with the autosampler and easily paired with the mass spectrometer. It also ensures secure wired or wireless control and data output through connected devices.
