Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science (SBPC) starts this Sunday (24/7), at the University of Brasília (UnB), and registration is open.There will be hundreds of free activities, such as conferences, round tables, courses and special sessions, among others.Researchers from different units of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) participate in the event.The Foundation is also among the institutions present at SBPC Jovem, a large exhibition aimed at basic education students and the general public, which takes place at the UnB Community Center (tent) from July 25th to 30th (Monday to Saturday), from 8 am at 6pm, with free admission.The event ends on Family Science Day (7/30), a Saturday dedicated to the integration between science and culture for children, young people and their families.An excellent option to enjoy the July holidays!At SBPC Jovem, Fiocruz will occupy a stand of almost 100 square meters, where visitors will be able to participate in several interactive activities for scientific dissemination and to learn more about the different activities of the Foundation, such as the production of vaccines and biological collections.The character Oswaldinho, inspired by the institution's patron, the scientist Oswaldo Cruz, is a confirmed presence at the stand, greeting and posing for photos with visitors.Among the many highlights of the program, on July 27 (Wednesday), the Women and Girls in Science Dossier will be launched at the Fiocruz stand at SBPC Jovem, at 11 am.On the same day, at 4:00 pm, only in the external auditorium of Fiocruz Brasília, a special session will be held in honor of Fiocruz's 60th anniversary of UnB, with the theme "Fiocruz and UnB: together for science as a social commitment", and the participation the president of
